GreenChem will transform the biomass to biomaterials sector through high purity green chemistry compounds to market ready products. Reducing humanity’s carbon footprint while maintaining high returns from the land, from biomass and from equity will enliven science, business and lifestyles.
There are both environmental and economical benefits. GreenChem addresses several key environmental issues facing NZ and indeed humankind. It is premised on licensing lignin technology to biofuel operators and while somewhat complex the economic and financial benefits are numerous.
